Anticipated Salary Range : $40,000-$53,000

The State Corporation Commission seeks a Technology Services Specialist to join the Clerks Office, which serves as the official custodian of the judicial and administrative records of the Commission and the central filing office in Virginia for most business entities, as well as Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) financing statements. The Clerks Office processes more than 800,000 registrations and fees annually for corporations, limited liability companies, business trusts, limited partnerships, general partnerships, and limited liability partnerships.

The Technology Services Specialist position assists the Solutions Management team with technical support for the business operation functions and management of the Clerks Office. This full-time position offers a hybrid work schedule, as well as training and professional development opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with technical support in the Clerks Office
• Assist the Information Technology Division with resolving hardware and software problems; installing hardware and software; and coordinating the troubleshooting, support, and service of equipment and / or networks
• Assist with the identification, tracking, monitoring, and reporting of system bugs and defects for Clerks Office systems
• Maintain system, security, and inventory records and documentation
• Review access requests for CLK systems and submit for approval
• Assist with changes to staff equipment and software
• Assist with management of special software specific to the Clerks Office, including the Clerks Information System (CIS), Kofax scanning software, desktop scanning, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD), and Microsoft Power Automate
• Assist with development of training materials and procedures relative to Clerks Office systems and technical support, as well as assist with the training of end users
• Perform related work as required
