Interventional Radiology Technologist Specialist

In this role, you will collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat a variety of cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions. You'll specialize in assisting patients undergoing a range of procedures including PTCA, stent placement, and embolizations, as well as nonvascular procedures such as gastrostomies and thoracentesis. With your growing expertise, you will also play a key role in mentoring new staff and enhancing team skills.

Your Key Responsibilities Include :

• Collaborating with physicians on both basic and complex diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Ensuring safe and efficient operation of all laboratory equipment and performing required data entry and report generation.
• Providing exceptional patient care through effective communication and meticulous observation of patient status during procedures.
• Preparing for procedures by accurately stocking rooms, setting up radiographic and hemodynamic equipment, and maintaining sterile fields.
• Functioning in various roles such as room circulator, scrub tech, and monitoring equipment to ensure quality patient care.
