HiFyve is hiring a Production Planner in the Manufacturing industry in Sylmar, CA!

Salary : $60,000+ / year DOE

Shift : Full-time, onsite

Location : Sylmar, CA

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our team. This role ensures efficient production scheduling, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong ERP system knowledge, manufacturing experience, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization
Release job orders and monitor their progress through the production cycle
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to align production plans with design and operational capabilities
Maintain accurate inventory control and ensure timely availability of materials
Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and production bottlenecks
Utilize ERP systems to manage planning activities and generate reports
Support purchasing activities and coordinate with procurement as needed
Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

5 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations (preferred)

Strong proficiency in ERP systems; Job Boss experience a plus

Solid understanding of inventory control principles

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively across departments

Background in purchasing or procurement is a plus

Must be capable of lifting 20–40 lbs
