Aquinas Consulting is hiring an Industrial Engineer for our client located in New Haven County, CT.

The Industrial Engineer supports the manufacturing operations by documenting processes and driving improvements in efficiency and quality. The role focuses on creating work instructions, time studies, process flows, and production documentation to ensure reliable, standardized methods across the plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop clear work instructions and job breakdown structures with visual aids.
• Capture knowledge from production staff and translate into standardized documentation.
• Conduct time studies, process flow analyses, and ergonomic / safety assessments to improve efficiency.
• Release new products into production with complete documentation and training materials.
• Support production with troubleshooting, process improvements, and technical guidance.
• Maintain labor standards for costing and capacity planning.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and train / mentor production staff.
