American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications for a diverse, fast-paced emergency and outpatient setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a freestanding emergency department supporting outpatient, primary care, and ED servicesPrimarily outpatient until 8pm, and emergency department only overnight from 8pm to 7amDay shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts, 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PMOn-call coverage required with a 30-minute response timePatient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatricsPerform basic CT scans as well as specialty studies such as stroke, cardiac, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTAX-ray procedures required including extremities, abdomen / GI, spine / pelvis, head, chest, thorax, musculoskeletal, and fluoroscopy studiesPreferred experience with enema studies, surgery / c-arm, and Shimatzu X-rayUtilizes GE equipment, PACS, and Epic EMRFloating to other facilities within the state may be requiredMust be able to work independently, deliver excellent customer service, and collaborate effectively with ED staffProfessional scrubs without logos requiredCandidates who previously held permanent roles at any Providence facility must have a separation of at least 3 months before applying as a travelerMinimal to no RTO is preferred and all requested time off must be disclosed during applicationFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyAll travelers are expected to complete non-billable orientation modules before starting and annuallyCOVID-19 and flu vaccinations, Social Security card, and driver's license may be required during compliance\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years CT technician experience requiredValid ARRT, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and BLS certifications requiredWashington state license or compact license required if applicableExperience in both adult outpatient and emergency department settings requiredAbility to independently perform contrast studies, start peripheral IVs, and administer contrast mediaProficiency with GE imaging equipment, PACS, and Epic EMR requiredExperience performing advanced CT procedures including multiplanar reconstruction preferredTwo supervisory references from the last three years covering one year of employment requiredProof of permanent residence via driver's license or comparable documentation required\n Benefits\n
