My client is a leading, multi-site and fast growing, manufacturer of mechanical assemblies and systems for commercial equipment and is seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead design efforts from concept through production to support continued business growth.
In this hybrid role, you'll collaborate with engineering, operations, and customers to create mechanical solutions that deliver long-term value in demanding field environments.

What You'll Be Doing
Design mechanical components and assemblies for new and existing productsConduct FEA, DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and material selectionCreate detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorksCollaborate with production and supply chain teams on manufacturability and cost optimizationParticipate in lab and field testing, design reviews, and continuous improvement effortsDevelop technical documentation and support cross-functional projectsAbout You
Be able to do the job as describedBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related field requiredIdeally 5 or more years of design engineering experience with product development process and creation of engineering bills of materialsStrong proficiency with SolidWorks and mechanical design fundamentalsAbility to analyze and apply functional tolerances including using Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Experience using and interpreting structural FEA resultsHands-on mechanical aptitude and an inquisitive personality with a passion for how things workAbility to manage multiple projects and adapt quickly in a dynamic environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaborationApply for this position
