Description
UCLA TIES (Training, Intervention, Education, and Services) for Families is an interdisciplinary program dedicated to optimizing the growth and development of foster / adoptive children from birth to age 26, and their families.
The Community Resource Coordinator provides a variety of support to the program staff and clients. In this role you will coordinate referrals and linkages to appropriate community resources and services including recreation, health, and wellbeing resources. You will facilitate client development by linking clients and family members to greater services, resources, and supports. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an internal program repository of community resources and programs.
Pay Range : $26.92 - $50.86 hourly
Qualifications
Required :

Ability to work independently and as a team player;
Experience working with the public or with community groups
Discretionary skills to handle confidential / sensitive material.
Knowledge about providing client advocacy and liaison with community agencies.
Skill in establishing priorities that accurately reflect relative importance of job duties.
Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal supervision.
Skill in formatting and writing grammatically correct chart notes, memos, letters, and reports.
Preferred : Bachelor's degree
Spanish speaking
Professional or lived experience working with families involved in child welfare
Must be knowledgeable about navigating multiple systems including but not limited to schools / school districts, Regional Center, Department of Children and Family Services, Probation Department and the Department of Health Services.
