Responsibilities :

• Ensure quality service and satisfaction, coordinating efficiently with customers and associates.
• Maintain compliance with CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, infection control, and privacy standards.
• Keep the collection area and work environment clean and organized, restocking supplies as necessary.
• Collaborate with the team lead to procure departmental supplies.
• Conduct all required phlebotomy duties, including specimen collection and preparation for referrals.
• Meet specimen requirements to ensure integrity during collection processes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
• Utilize the laboratory computer system for documentation and order entry tasks.
• Assist with various duties including on-call responsibilities and special projects.
• Complete performance evaluations and competency assessments promptly.

As per CHRISTUS Health policy, all associates must obtain required certifications in a timely manner.

Work Schedule : 12 PM - 8 : 30 PM
