Position Summary :

We are seeking a Staff Internal Auditor with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience to join our Internal Audit team. This role will be responsible for executing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) / Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) testing as well as conducting risk-based operational audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies within the financial services or (re)insurance industry.

Role Responsibilities :

Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) :

• Execute SOX / ICFR testing, including walkthroughs, control assessments, and testing of key controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate annual process of reviewing and updating internal controls with Wilton Re management and co-sourced testing partners

Basic Qualifications :

Required Education / Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Professional certification (or working toward) such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is a plus

Minimal but some travel required (10%)

Base salary / hourly rate range for this position in Connecticut is between $65,000 and $ 90,000 Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon a variety of job-related factors as permitted by law, including geographic location, credentials, skills, education, training, and experience.

Base salary is just one component of Wilton Re's total compensation package for employees. Additional compensation includes annual performance-based bonus, 401K with employer contribution, and profit-sharing program. Employee may also be eligible for long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
