SUMMARY : The controls system engineer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of control systems as they apply to CNG / Hydrogen Fuel delivery systems for the class 8 truck market. People in these positions will decompose product requirements into functional requirements and design and tune controls that operate on Cummins’ products in a variety of customer applications. Additionally, there is responsibility to configure (tune), and complete comprehensive validation testing of the fully integrated hardware and software systems.

Mathematical Skills :
An understanding of mathematical operations including advanced statistics. Good understanding of engineering principles is required.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Other Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of CAD software is a requirement. Must be willing to travel on a limited basis.
