Job Brief

Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Material Handler for our client. This position involves supporting production operations by safely unloading, moving, and organizing raw materials throughout the facility. You’ll operate forklifts and overhead cranes, prepare materials for processing, and maintain a clean and safe workspace while ensuring efficient material flow to production areas.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Operating a forklift to unload raw materials from inbound trucks.
• Breaking apart boxes, pallets, or any shipping materials to unload raw material and transfer to pallets for distribution into the shop.
• Operating an overhead crane to lift parts up and on skids.
• Loading raw materials on a cut off saw for processing cut bar stock to the lathe areas.
• Sweeping up work areas when debris from uncrating is needed. Cleaning and organizing of work are to ensure safety for all associates that may pass through these areas.
• Computer experience used to load and schedule pallets for our automated cells.
• Self-motivated associate that can multitask to achieve the goals for the day.
• This is a highly physical job, allot of moving and bending to work in this area.
