Description of Responsibilities : Provide Great customer service skills to the stores , admin, and all other vendors / donors.
Primary duties include moving of RAW donated materials, all salvage commodities / sorts, trash, equipment / fixtures or other designated materials on / off trucks and sorting properly into the designated locations within the plant through the Kaizen system.
Full compliance to Kaizen guidelines / principles as outlined in the audit and 5-minute drills. Will assist in all areas of the salvage sorting process and cross train to cover other specified job descriptions within the plant as needed.
- Required Experience : High School graduate or its equivalent. At least one to two years of experience in warehouse operations;
- one to two years of experience loading 53', 48' containers and box trucks; one year supervisory experience; Previous forklift experience desired;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
Required skills : Must have sufficient mobility to turn from side to side, lean, kneel or bend. Ability to lift forty (40) pounds and work a flexible schedule.
Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to see and recognize colors. Ability to occasionally work outdoors where temperatures and climate can fluctuate.
