Job descriptionDemonstrated experience with regulatory and advanced controls of manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Honeywell Experion process control system. Able to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, accuracy, effectiveness, and self-confidence. Experience with multi-variable predictive control (i.e. DMC) is a plus. Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Contract Industries : Oil and Gas and Oil and Coal Product Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide support for basic process control applications using basic application engineering skills such as point configuration, loop tuning, and identification of process dynamics.
- Monitor, maintain, and modify existing process control applications and operator interfaces.
- Identify and develop new control schemes to increase process safety, operability, and profitability.
- Provide process control support during project development, installation, and startup.
- Participate actively within the operating team including molecule management, unit troubleshooting and incident investigations.
- On-Call availability to support emergency site events (freeze, hurricane, unplanned process event, etc.) outside of normal hours when needed.
