Hotel Maintenence Tech

The Academy Hotel, Colorado Springs is a family owned and operated full service hotel. We're looking for an experienced individual who will care for our property as if it's your own home.

Wages : $17.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience.

Hours : First or second shift as needed

Job Description | Responsibilities | Duties :

♦ General and preventative maintenance in guestrooms, meeting rooms, restaurant and public areas.

♦ Minor mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.

♦ Repairs to guestroom doors, access doors, furniture, window and wall fixtures.

♦ Preventative maintenance on exterior building and lot.

♦ Equipment repairs : vacuums, carts, buggies and laundry equipment.

♦ Plumbing repairs : sinks, tubs, showers, toilets.

♦ Paint maintenance : Guest rooms, doors, furniture touch up, atrium and other public areas.

♦ Pool Maintenance.

♦ Storage maintenance for furniture, fixtures, carpet, wall paper, maintenance supplies.

♦ Preventative HVAC maintenance.

♦ Monitor Maintenance Log and complete tasks promptly as requests are settled.

♦ Remove and replace furniture and fixtures as needed.

♦ Carpet and tile maintenance.

♦ Daily communication with department heads and staff.

Requirements & Qualifications :

♦ A minimum of 1 year of building maintenance or handyman experience. ♦ Hotel experience and Certifications are a plus.

♦ Able to work a flexible schedule based on hotel needs, including PM Shifts (2nd shift), weekends and holidays.
