Chief Engineer

About the Role

Complete Building Services supports over 100 different commercial properties in the Washington DC metro area. We are hiring a Chief Engineer to take on a portfolio in Bethesda, MD. They will work hand in hand with our client and our Field Supervisor to ensure the building is running at top efficiency. Base hours are Monday–Friday 7 : 00 am–3 : 30 pm with flexibility to support projects after hours as required. Salary $40-$45 per hour depending on experience.

Your day to day will vary and your duties could include :

• Providing Quality Control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performed
• Assist with competitive process, develop statement of work construction documents, obtain bids / proposals / cost estimates for TWO's (Tenant Work Order's) and construction projects
• Oversight of diagnostic and repairs on building systems
• Oversight of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety system repairs
• Preparing work schedules
• Maintaining records and prepare required reports
• Coordinating and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis
• Manage some on-sitesubcontractors supporting the projects
• Preparing and issuing solicitations for the subcontractors as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements
