Position Summary

The Blending Manager oversees MPC's end-to-end commercial blending operations, responsible for optimizing blend pool economics across distillates and light ends. This role ensures product quality compliance, maximizes value from regrade and swap opportunities, and integrates physical blending strategies with commercial and regulatory requirements. The position delivers ex-refinery merchant blending strategies that involves coordination across trading teams, Fuels Value Chains (FVC's), Value Chain Optimization (VCO) and refining. The Head of Blending has four core objectives :

• Lead blend optimization strategies across product pools for the trading teams
• Govern product specifications and blending compliance
• Manage blend infrastructure constraints and tankage allocation
• Interface with trading and scheduling to execute high-value blend strategies
