This position is on a 4th Shift Schedule : Team C : 7am to 7pm
SUMMARY : Control Sulfite and other additives in the Evaporated line process using specialized testing equipment to analyze levels; adding appropriate amounts to meet customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices.

- Maintain Appropriate Sulfite Levels
Test raw product Sulfite levels
Add or dilute Sulfite in system to achieve appropriate level for customer specificationsVerify lab specificationsCheck condition and cut size of fruit as it relates to Sulfite absorptionCheck QA Tech results on finished productAnalyze flume water using DichromateNotify Lab Tech when supplies run lowNotify Lab Tech regarding any lab equipment issuesClean lab equipment used for these tasksMaintain GMPsInspect machinery for foreign material

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute SO2 levels on hand-held calculator.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Forklift CertificationTECHNOLOGICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Understand customer specifications as they relate to the Utility responsibilities.Operate hand-held calculator.
