Procurement Specialist
Reports to : Procurement Manager

Position Summary :
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the ordering of Russo Power’s parts and materials, analyze costs, negotiate contract details, offer strategies and solutions to help better manage costs on parts / materials. Additional duties of the Procurement specialist include directly assisting to the Parts Manager with projects and tasks.
Responsibilities / Duties :
- Maintain Russo’s purchasing strategy
- Conduct research to find the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality
- Forecasting levels of demand for products to meet the business needs
- Consistently maintain stock levels
- Be a liaison between suppliers and internal departments or customers, maintain strong working relations
- Develop knowledge of brands used within our industry, both OEM and aftermarket
- Fill parts orders in an accurate fashion
- Uphold and maintain the visual standard within the store and Parts division
- The proper checking in and receipt of all incoming orders that are related to one’s purchases
- Develop rapport and effectively communicate with vendors and other divisions within the facility
- Assist in continuous inventory checks on all products that one is responsible for purchasing
- The maintenance and up-keeping of accurate and current manufacturers, part #s, product descriptions, etc. in the
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
