Job Description

We are currently seeking an Operations Manager with a strong emphasis on Thermal Spray and HVOF technologies for a growing Manufacturing company in Houston, TX!

Key Responsibilities :

Production & Planning

Manage daily production operations, ensuring efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment.
Oversee production planning to meet customer demand and optimize resource allocation.
Monitor performance metrics and address operational gaps through corrective actions.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality systems.

Report and investigate quality and safety incidents; lead corrective action efforts.

Financial & Administrative Oversight

Support budget and CAPEX planning.

Track productivity and profitability metrics.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

Build a positive, safety-driven work culture.

Coach and mentor production staff to ensure high performance and engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

Expertise in thermal spray technologies (HVOF, Plasma, JP, DJ) and robotic automation preferred.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and / or AS9100 quality systems.

Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

10+ years in a manufacturing or coatings environment strongly preferred.

5+ years in a production or operations leadership role required.
