DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Sort count and record product being returned from retail customer.
- Evaluate returned product for damages scratches missing parts and functionality.
- Process paperwork and communicate discrepancies with customer service.
- Test product to determine reason for being returned using a variety of test equipment.
- Repair product to acceptable refurbished state.
- Package recovered product using a variety of cartons and packaging materials.
- Communicate with management and co-workers in written form email or in person on issues changes
or questions.
Maintain all documentation as it relates to defects.Review rework schedule to maintain inventory monthly goals.Maintain parts inventory for the recovery area.Preform firearm builds as requested / required.Maintain safe working practices and conditionsFollow instructions as neededComply to work standards set for each operationDiscard trash and dunnage from sorting operationMaintain cleanliness of work areaAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
High School diploma or equivalentStrong knowledge of air guns airsoft or firearms or mechanical aptitudeAble to communicate issues clearlyBasic Computer SkillsMust have ability to work under minimal supervisionMust be task oriented - Use time wiselyWork well with all other departmentsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.Employment with Umarex USA is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
