Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details :

  • Work Monday through Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM
  • Spanish-speaking ability preferred, though translator services will be provided if needed
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients per physician orders and safety protocols
  • Operate specialized nuclear medicine imaging equipment including SPECT and PET scanners
  • Perform various nuclear medicine imaging procedures and diagnostic tests
  • Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Monitor patient safety throughout procedures while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Record and analyze images to ensure quality and accuracy of diagnostic results
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to review and interpret results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for imaging procedures
  • Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials in compliance with safety regulations
  • Stay current with nuclear medicine advancements and participate in relevant training
