Job description

The RCM Quality Specialist is responsible for performing quality assurance audits to ensure proper reimbursement, as well as preparing reports and reviewing trends.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Create, organize, and document department policies and processes for various needs within the RCM Department to facilitate operational excellence.
  • Audit current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billing and collections operations.
  • Generate financial data reports and communicate with the Finance department for processing of client management fees.
  • Create monthly report cards and year over year comparisons for each client to communicate financial health of the practice.
  • Coordinate the provision of training for new and existing billing staff on applicable operating policies, protocols, systems and procedures, standards, and techniques.
  • Facilitate logistics and execution of new client onboarding to increase impact and retention.
  • Research upcoming trends in the healthcare market and develop proactive plans for minimizing impacts on clients.
  • Maintain library of information and tools related to documentation guidelines and coding.
  • Position will work closely with RCM Leadership on projects as they arise.
  • Monitor, identify and report trends based on data reviews.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
