Job Responsibilities :
Drives the commitment for exceptional patient experience
Coordinates daily imaging procedures to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
Assists technical staff with complex or high‐volume patient procedures as needed
Maintains adequate departmental staffing levels to support patient care and workflow demands
Monitors, recommends, and implements operational procedures to improve department efficiency and compliance
Oversees inventory and coordinates procurement to ensure availability of necessary supplies and equipment
Participates in and supports department‐wide performance improvement initiatives
Organizes and facilitates staff education and training related to procedures, orientation, new technologies, and hospital policies
Conducts performance appraisals for department staff as assigned by department leadership
Provides guidance and direction in the resolution of staff or patient concerns, incidents, and workflow issues
Represents the department in hospital meetings, committees, and collaborative initiatives as requested
Ensures adherence to clinical best practices and safety standards in the performance of diagnostic imaging procedures
Promotes and educates staff on safety protocols, infection control, emergency procedures, and proper body mechanics relevant to the clinical setting
Protects patient and institutional confidentiality in accordance with regulatory and hospital standards
Completes and ensures compliance with incident reporting policies and procedures
Performs other related duties as required to support the department and hospital mission
Position Qualifications :
Minimum Required :
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology with three years experience in full service hospital Radiology Department.
ARRT and New York license as Radiologic Technologist
Preferred :
Previous experience supervising staff.

Work Environment
All work is performed in the department which consists of many rooms. These rooms are air conditioned as well as heated, areas are occasionally subject to fumes.
