Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Locum Tenens MD / DO BC OBGYN for inpatient hospital and clinic coverage in Ahoskie, NC. The position requires 24-hour call coverage and specific certifications, including ALSO and NRP, with a schedule offering coverage two weekends a month through March 2025. Candidates should have experience in managing inpatient care in an OBGYN setting and be proficient in EPIC EMR.

Tinkbird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a Locum Tenens MD / DO BC OBGYN for coverage in Ahoskie, NC starting ASAP.

Schedule :

24hr call coverage needed as soon as credentialed.

Two weekends a month hospital coverage only (Friday Monday 7a7a) through end of year and January / February / March 2025

Need 2 weeks per month for both clinic and hospital coverage beginning January for 6 months Clinic runs Monday through Thursday 8 : 00am until 5 : 00pm with last patient scheduled at 4 : 00 -

Friday 8 : 00am until 4 : 00pm with last patient scheduled at 3 : 00pm with hospital coverage from 7am to 7am.

Average admissions per day : 1 per night : 1

No ICU responsibilities

LT will not respond to codes.

Support from nearby James and Connie Maynard Children s hospital including pediatric transport.

ALSO certification (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics)

ALSO certification is required within 6 months if provider plans on staying on long term.

NRP required if provider plans on staying 6 months or long term.

LT must have evidence of completion of the AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years.
