Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical (Neuro Medicine)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15).

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in a specialized Neuro Medicine unit where you will provide crucial care to patients with neurological conditions. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, offering support and treatment for various patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver patient-centered care within a medical-surgical environment.
  • Manage and monitor patients under your care with a focus on neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory services, and other interdisciplinary teams.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and isolation precautions as necessary.
  • Float to other units as required.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical setting.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
  • Preferred experience with NIHSS and neurological care.
