About Us

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to help drive the development of our Trading Product Platform - a key part of the BetMGM sportsbook experience. This individual will be responsible for shaping & executing strategic product initiatives that enhance our market offerings, optimize pricing & margin, and empower our Trading & Risk Management teams with best-in-class tools.

The Senior Product Manager will be a driving force behind BetMGM's trading and risk capabilities. You will influence the product strategy and deliver on a roadmap for a highly technical and mission-critical platform that touches everything from market creation and pricing algorithms to real-time risk mitigation and settlement.

In this role, you'll collaborate with engineering, data science, trading, product design, and 3rd-party providers to develop robust, scalable, and innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen trading accuracy, and elevate the customer experience.

You'll love to create new and improved technology driven customer-centric experiences, with quality and at speed. You're comfortable making data-driven decisions and have a raw talent to work with product designers and developers to turn complex business problems into simple customer solutions.

Responsibilities

Articulate product strategy for your area of ownership of the Trading Product Platform , sell your vision to leadership, and champion a roadmap that inspires the business unit to deliver the strategy

Create, maintain , and prioritize the product backlog according to business and product strategy

Partner closely with the Trading & Risk teams to ensure operational needs are met through scalable, efficient, and intuitive internal tools.

Collaborate with data providers, vendors, and engineering teams to manage integrations, market feeds, pricing logic, and algorithm enhancements.

Partner with and serve as a liaison between Product Management, Trading, Engineering, other internal partners to ensure products are meeting business strategies and objectives

Identify gaps between the current functionality and be able to recommend solutions

Develop detailed written requirements with acceptance criteria and negotiate trade-offs with engineering and design teams

Influence the product strategy, design solutions, and engineering decisions to best accomplish the intended outcomes

Launch product initiatives with high confidence through mitigating risks and executing go-to-market plans with all relevant stakeholders

Continuously analyze product performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve speed, reliability, and profitability.

Evangelize risk-aware thinking and drive innovations that support real-time risk management without sacrificing customer experience

Lead daily / weekly / monthly standups, planning, and grooming activities

Be accountable for delivering returns from product investments

Stay on top of trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in sports betting and trading platforms

Essential Functions

Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time.

Willingness to travel occasionally for team meetings, vendor visits, or industry events.

Qualifications

3 + years of product management experience, with experience of developing sportsbook trading platforms or risk technology.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems / Science / Technology , Computer Science, Engineering, Database Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related fields

Strong understanding of sports modeling , odds pricing, and automated market-making.

Demonstrated experience working with trading desks or internal ops tools that support market lifecycle and risk mitigation.

Experience creating and maintaining product roadmaps

Deep comfort with analytics and KPIs to measure trading performance, operational efficiency, and market outcomes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills-able to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Highly analytical and comfortable using a variety of reporting systems and tools

Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail

Ability to clearly describe the vision for our products as well as the ability to define clear requirements and use cases to support them

Demonstrate knowledge of the product development lifecycle and has a track record of delivering meaningful product and feature improvements

Experience as a relationship builder and a champion for transparency and collaboration

Proven track record of managing several priorities concurrently and capable of finishing them with minimal supervision

Additional Requirements (if applicable)

Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field

Prior experience with sports, casino, and / or gaming websites and mobile apps

Familiarity with pricing algorithms, betting exchanges, or automated trading systems

Experience with U.S. sports betting markets and regulations.

Product Management certifications and / or coursework

Strong technical background - with the ability to have intelligent conversations with engineering

Demonstrating a strong interpersonal skill set - being able to communicate with team members effectively and emphatically at all levels within an organization

Being an innovative thinker, someone not afraid to challenge the status quo and ask questions

Showing a true passion for this industry inclusive of sports, casinos, and entertainment

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $125,840.00 to $165,165.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.

Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. Please note that the licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification.

In addition, candidates must comply with and support the company's responsible gambling policies, procedures and initiatives.

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
