Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT and X-ray experience and a current NY state license for an evening shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a CT department with additional X-ray responsibilities
  • Schedule is five 8-hour evening shifts, Wednesday through Sunday from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM
  • Patients may be adult or geriatric as commonly seen in hospital CT settings
  • Use of Epic EMR is required
  • Candidates will be required to float as needed within the scope of their practice
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
  • All module training must be completed prior to start, with up to 5 billable hours allowed
  • A full 7-year work history with gaps explained and two professional supervisory references from the past 2 years are required
  • Return staff must have at least a 1-year gap since previous employment
  • Three called-off shifts are allowed per 13-week assignment
  • RTO must be submitted with initial application

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
  • Recent X-ray experience required
  • Active NY state license required for consideration
  • EPIC charting experience is required
  • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility location
