At Daydream, we're building the future of growth marketing. Our mission : companies pay for outcomes, not just tools. To make that real, we've built a vertically integrated software-and-services stack that delivers fast, repeatable, and reliable growth. Today, we run AI-powered SEO for companies like Replit, Clay, and Hims. Tomorrow, we'll expand across every major growth channel.
Growth marketing is hard to get right - great talent is scarce, agencies are slow, and results are inconsistent. We're changing that by combining world-class AI systems with expert operators to automate the hardest parts of growth and deliver compounding advantages. Backed by $20M+ from top VCs and growth leaders from Notion, Webflow, and Dropbox - plus operators like Lenny Rachitsky and Eli Schwartz (Product-Led SEO) - we're building with people who know growth inside and out. And we're just getting started.
As a Data Engineer, you'll be the backbone of our data-driven approach. You'll design the pipelines that power every stage of our growth playbooks - from scraping large volumes of web data to analyzing what actually drives traffic and conversions.
Please note : This is an in-person role at our Hayes Valley office in San Francisco. For candidates outside the Bay Area, we offer paid relocation.
What You'll Do
- Design and scale web scraping pipelines to collect and structure content at large volumes across different verticals.
- Build systems to track and analyze the effectiveness of thousands of SEO assets, turning raw data into insights and dashboards.
- Build internal tools that allow our growth leads to ideate, launch, and test strategies at scale-backed by data, not gut feel.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and growth to embed data workflows into our product stack.
- Stay on top of the latest in data engineering, SEO, and AI-share learnings internally and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
