Shift Notes : First shift with call at night and on weekend days / nights

Weekends : 24 Hour Call

On Call : Will be on call for ED consults will come in about 30% of the nights

Job Description :

Hospital coverage and scopes only, no clinic

Round on inpt / medical per day

Scheduled scopes could be 8 9 per day

Patients age 15 and up

ERCP highly preferrred

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified - Required (will not accept BE)

BLS & ACLS - Required

MI license and CSR at time of submission - Highly Preferred

Medical Group is in search of a locum Gastroenterologist to cover Northern Michigan. They have a very well-respected GI group that has served northern Michigan for more than 45 years. The office is attached to the endoscopy center at Northern Michigan making for a very convenient and efficient practice environment. The group performs EGD's, colonoscopies, ERCP's and capsule endoscopy. The hospital has excellent interventional radiologists for TIP's procedures, embolization, paracentesis, etc. and works closely with surgeons well trained in the latest laparoscopic techniques.
