Master Plumber Connecticut P-1 License (Residential & Light Commercial)
We are Kelsey and Sean, owners of bluefrog Plumbing + Drain of Stamford a new, family-owned plumbing company serving southern Fairfield County. We're looking for an experienced P-1 Licensed Master Plumber to help us set the quality, technical, and cultural standard from day one. You'll be the cornerstone of our team someone who leads by example, mentors others, ensures compliance, and helps us build a company rooted in craftsmanship, professionalism, and pride in doing things right. Each bluefrog location is independently owned and operated, allowing franchise owners to bring the strength of a national brand together with the personal touch of a local business. Across the network, hundreds of licensed plumbers share best practices, training, and support creating a deep bench of expertise and collaboration that benefits both our teams and our customers.
Here's what you'll do :
- Perform residential and light commercial plumbing service work repairs, installs, diagnostics, and maintenance
- Diagnose issues and communicate clearly with customers about solutions and pricing
- Use ServiceTitan for job management, dispatch, drafting estimates, invoicing, and updates
- Set and uphold standards for code compliance, craftsmanship, and safety
- Mentor and train journeyman plumbers and apprentices
- Collaborate with ownership to develop service processes and best practices
- Provide technical input on tools, equipment, and material decisions
- Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and customer care
- Maintain clean, safe, and code-compliant work environments
- Contribute to our growing culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Expectation of 35-45 hours a week

License Partnership Stipend : You'll receive a monthly stipend of $2,500 for licensing and compliance oversight, compensating you for serving as bluefrog Stamford's qualifying Master Plumber with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. A separate license agreement will govern this portion of the arrangement, outlining renewal terms and notice requirements independent of your employment agreement.Plumbing Work Compensation : In your day-to-day responsibilities performing plumbing work, you will receive base pay of $50 / hour plus the potential for additional sales and performance-based compensation. This model rewards performance and productivity without any commission games or pay caps. Most plumbers can expect to earn $2,000$4,000 per week, depending on workload and efficiency.Signing Bonus : $2,500 signing bonus provided.Additional benefits :
