A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CREW SUPERVISOR

As a Crew Supervisor, you are the face of our company to the customer through the duration of each job, keeping them updated on progress and ensuring that they receive the best possible customer service. When changes need to be made, you execute the change order. You also have the opportunity to increase your income by upselling products. It is your responsibility to collect payment from the customer. You run jobs with a crew of up to three insulation installers. Under your leadership, they take pride in their work. Working closely with the production manager, you manage paperwork, contracts, materials, and labor on jobs as well as job training for crew members. You do a great job of protecting our company's reputation and job margins!

The position we hire for will not be leading a crew but will be working under the crew foreman to learn the trade and eventually be promoted to a leadership role.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREW SUPERVISOR

• Contracting experience in any construction field
• Physical ability to work on roofs, in hot attics, and in damp crawlspaces and attics
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Good driving record
• Willingness to work overnight out of town as needed
• Have own cell phone and tools
• Customer service skills
• Leadership skills

Specific insulation contracting experience is not required . First and foremost, we hire based on attitude . We provide ongoing training to attain industry certifications , including training at the National Energy Training Center in Seymour, CT.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time construction position typically works Monday - Friday, 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM . The average crew stays out of town 6-8 days per month .
