• Patient ratio experience : Labor 1 : 2, Antepartum 1 : 3, Mother / Baby 1 : 3
• Charting system experience required

Description :

Labor and Delivery department seeking a qualified Registered Nurse.

The position involves providing care in a labor and delivery setting.

Nurses will maintain patient ratios of 1 : 2.

Facility has a total of 14 rooms.

Successful candidates will have a background in both labor and delivery nursing.

Key skills include administration of various medications, support during labor, and postpartum care.

Experience with high-risk deliveries and assisting in cesarean sections is beneficial.

Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring fetal heart rates, and educating families.

Support for breastfeeding and newborn care will also be required.

Nurses will be expected to work weekends and holidays as needed.
