Senior Data Developer (Contract)

📍 Greenwood Village, CO | 💼 On-site | ⏳ 6-Month Contract

💵 $60–$70 / hr | ❌ H1B Sponsorship Not Available

Hays is looking for a Senior Data Developer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade data solutions. If you're passionate about data engineering, large-scale systems, and driving innovation—this is your opportunity to make an impact.

🔧 What You’ll Do :

  • Lead ETL and data integration efforts across platforms
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for massive datasets (200–350 TB)
  • Collaborate with BI and Data Warehousing teams
  • Develop SQL / HIVE databases, APIs (Java / Spring), and web services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues

🎯 What You Bring :

  • 5+ years in ETL, SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, JSON
  • Experience with data lakes, large-scale data systems
  • Strong knowledge of REST / SOAP APIs, WebSphere / Tomcat
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

    • 🎓 Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
