Job descriptionSelf-starter with positive can-do attitude Knowledge of Diesel engines preferred Valid class CDL B driver's license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first year Knowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferred ASE and / or EVT certifications a plus Ability to TIG aluminum, TIG stainless steel, MIG aluminum and MIG steel a PLUS Able to weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions a PLUS This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7 : 30-4 : 00. Starting rate $20-35 / hr depending on experience and certifications

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles.
- Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.
- Experience with welding / fabrication to upfit new deliveries or minor repair work would be helpful.
