Environmental Health and Safety Specialist(Manufacturing)

Job Responsibilities / Requirements :

Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or Industrial Engineering

Depth in ISO standards

Develop and enforce safety policies in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure safe working conditions

Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and recommend corrective actions

Deliver safety training programs in both English and Spanish, covering PPE, emergency response, hazard communication, etc

Develop safety programs and procedures

Follow and implement OSHA regulations

Expert knowledge of safety system analysis

Support audit contractor and EHS policies and standards

Interface with state and federal agencies such as State Environmental agencies, DOT, EPA and OSHA

Develop and implement Safety programs

Comply with environmental management system for manufacturing facility

Conduct research for the purpose of identifying, abating, or eliminating sources of pollutants or environmental hazards
