Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts include three 12-hour rotations with on-call responsibilities as part of the schedule, including holidays.

Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills to deliver high-quality compassionate care to patients and families. The ED RN assesses patient needs, identifies urgent or emergent care priorities, and collaboratively provides direct care, applies appropriate interventions, and evaluates patient progress. This role requires skill in both invasive and non-invasive procedures, treatments, and therapeutic interventions to manage life-threatening and routine emergency situations.
