We are seeking an innovative physicist to conduct hydrodynamic and 3D electromagnetic simulations for commercial pulsed-power applications. Candidates should have a background in physics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or mechanical engineering and will join a growing team working on diverse projects.

Responsibilities Include :

Collaborating with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers to scale pulsed-power systems for industrial applications.

Using simulation tools (e.g., FLASH, LS-DYNA, ALE, COMSOL, CST, HFSS) for MHD, circuit, and multi-physics simulations.

Modeling hydrodynamic, solid-matter interfaces, liquids, and pulsed-power system scaling.

Managing computing systems and diverse operating systems (Linux, macOS, Windows) or small clusters.

Presenting work at design reviews, managing schedules, and tracking project costs.

Analyzing theoretical simulation results and experimental data.

Documenting theoretical results.

Preparing technical proposals.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree (with experience) or Master's in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.

2–10+ years of experience in advanced simulations.

Experience in research, development, or prototyping environments.

Experience writing proposals for competitive solicitations.

Desired Qualifications :

20+ years of experience in simulations or related projects for government or industry.

Expertise in theoretical physics, electrical engineering, or applied physics.

Master's or Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
