Key Responsibilities :
Provide surgical care to trauma
and critically ill patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary
environment.
Participate in trauma call
coverage and manage acute surgical emergencies.
Contribute to quality improvement
initiatives, trauma registry reviews, and protocol development.
Engage in teaching medical students,
residents, and fellows.
Participate in
clinical research and academic activities, as appropriate.

Training
and / or Experience Required
MD or DO degree from
an accredited medical school.
Board
certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care
and / or Trauma preferred.
Eligible for medical
licensure in North Carolina.
Strong
