Must-haves
Bilingual is a must, especially if fluent in Spanish and good with translation or interpretation experience.
Experience in healthcare management, public relations, or social services required
Two (2) years of work experience in a human services field and 1 year of outreach work experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other applications
Ability to Coordinate and Organize events
Day-to-Day :
Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and social service agencies to promote outreach initiatives.
Coordinate and execute outreach events, health fairs, and informational sessions across diverse communities, ensuring bilingual support (Spanish / English) is available.
Translate and interpret outreach materials and communications for Spanish-speaking populations to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
Conduct community needs assessments and gather feedback to inform program development and service delivery.
Represent the organization at public events, meetings, and forums with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Deliver presentations and public speaking engagements to educate the community about available services and resources.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, participant engagement, and event outcomes using Word, Excel, and other reporting tools.
Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals and service offerings.
Monitor and report on outreach performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
Travel to various community sites using reliable transportation, adhering to safety and scheduling protocols.
Ensure all outreach activities comply with background screening and professional conduct standards.
