SUNhas extensive experience developing and implementing local solar purchasingprograms that lower the barriers to solar by tapping into group purchasingpower to lower costs;
and focused educational campaigns to support peoplethroughout the process. One of the keythings we do is clearly explain to participants how much going solar is goingto cost, and how to understand and evaluate different approaches to financingtheir systems.
SUN is deeply invested in expanding the equitable access tosolar and we are engaged in implementing low-income rooftop solar programsacross the USA.
We will be expanding this work in support of the EnvironmentalProtection Agency’s Solar for All (SFA) program, including in Florida where weare a named subrecipient with responsibilities to procure and deploy solarinstallations for all program participants over the five-year grant performanceperiod.
TheFlorida Solar for All Director of Go Solar Programs will oversee all of the GoSolar portion of those operations and also be responsible for directlyadministering the quality assurance component of the program.
This position will report to the Go Solar Program Director and will directly supervise at least one staff (Florida SFA Installer Manager) while providing supervisory support for several others.
This is a grant-funded 5-year position, withthe possibility of extension beyond the grant period.

Responsibilities
Florida SFA Go Solar operationsoversight :
- SuperviseFlorida SFA Go Solar operations & staff
- Provideguidance on program design, setup, implementation
- Supporthiring, onboarding, and training
- Assistwith reporting / metrics / monitoring
- Ensurecompliance with all applicable Federal procurement requirements, includingDavis Bacon
- Identifycapacity gaps
- Provideoverflow operational support to staff members during peak times and to fillidentified gaps.
Manage Quality Assurance fordeployment :
- Performinspection provider outreach and communications
- Manageinspection provider relationships
- Scheduleinspections and monitor execution and follow-up
- Coordinateany necessary installation remediation identified by inspection results
- Reporting
- Other duties as assigned,including :
- Provide educational sessions on the program, Federal guidelines, and Florida-specific rollout
- Site visits as needed
- Networking and relationship-building with industry partners
- Storytelling assistance
RequiredQualifications
- Minimum5 years of professional experience
- Minimum3 years of experience in the rooftop solar industry in an installation oroperations management role
- Minimumof 2 years directly managing staff
- Minimum1 year with direct responsibility for budget management
- Experience with project management
- Experience with Excel and basic projectrevenue and cost modeling
- Passion for expanding access to rooftopsolar
- Attention to detail and a keen interestin optimizing processes
- Be a clear and consistent communicator
- Be comfortable with regular use officeproductivity, communication, and project management software
PreferredQualifications
Resident of Florida
Spanish fluency
NABCEP Certification (PVIP, PVIS, or PVSI)
Experience supporting the implementation of income-qualified rooftop solar programing
Experience with project management tools like Asana or Jira
Experience with working under Davis Bacon rules
Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in the rooftop solar industry in an installation or operations management role
Minimum of 2 years directly managing staff
Minimum 1 year with direct responsibility for budget management
Experience with project management
Experience with Excel and basic project revenue and cost modeling
Passion for expanding access to rooftop solar
Attention to detail and a keen interest in optimizing processes
Be a clear and consistent communicator
Be comfortable with regular use office productivity, communication, and project management software
Knowledge in : Computer skills
