POSITION SUMMARY

The Community Relations Director (Sales and Marketing Director) is responsible for managing all outreach and relationship-building efforts to maintain and exceed occupancy goals within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. This position requires strategic planning, compassionate relationship management, and strong knowledge of Title 22 regulations to ensure proper placement and care alignment for prospective residents.

You will build strong connections within the local community, identify and cultivate referral sources, generate qualified leads, and conduct community tours. In collaboration with the Executive Director and regional sales team, you'll drive occupancy and revenue growth while ensuring each family and resident experiences exceptional service and communication throughout the process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies tailored to Assisted Living and Memory Care services, aligned with company objectives
  • Create and execute the annual marketing plan in collaboration with the Executive Director, corporate marketing, and operations teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physicians, and community partners
  • Maintain and grow the lead base by responding promptly and professionally to all inquiries
  • Conduct engaging community tours for prospective residents and families, ensuring accurate representation of AL and MC programs and Title 22 compliance
  • Track and report on sales activity, lead status, and follow-up actions
  • Maintain accuracy in the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM); experience with Yardi is highly preferred
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through relationship development and consistent communication
  • Represent the community at outreach events, networking meetings, and professional organizations
  • Manage marketing materials, social media presence, and advertising initiatives
  • Carefully monitor the marketing budget and provide accurate pricing and ROI reporting
  • Requirements

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

    Education :

  • A High School diploma is required. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience, Competencies, and Skills :

  • 3-5 years of experience in Assisted Living and / or Memory Care sales required
  • Strong understanding of Title 22 regulations and their impact on resident placement and compliance
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding occupancy goals
  • Demonstrated experience in community outreach and referral relationship development
  • Computer proficient with CRM systems; Yardi experience a plus
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including evenings or weekends as needed
  • Positive, professional, and compassionate demeanor with a passion for serving seniors
  • Valid driver's license required
