Job description

Position : Board Certified / Board Eligible General Psychiatrist(Inpatient)

Location : Southside of Indianapolis, IN

Opportunity Overview :

Healthcare United is looking for a Board Certified / Board Eligible General Psychiatrist to join an established and expanding behavioral health team. This outpatient position focuses on medication management and is part of a comprehensive suite of outpatient behavioral health services. The role offers a strong work-life balance and the chance to work within a supportive environment committed to patient care excellence.

Position Highlights :

  • Schedule : Monday through Friday.
  • Focus : Outpatient care, primarily centered on medication management.
  • Common Diagnoses :

Depressive Disorder

  • Anxiety / Panic Disorder
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Mood Disorders
  • Pharmacologic Management
  • Support : Full complement of outpatient behavioral health services.
  • Leadership Opportunities : Available for candidates with interest and experience in guiding teams and initiatives.

    • Requirements

  • Education : Doctorate in Medicine (MD / DO).
  • Certification : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
  • Licensure : Active or eligibility for an Indiana medical license.
  • Experience : Previous outpatient psychiatric care experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills : Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented approach focused on patient-centered care.
  • Additional : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
