The Clinical Assistant is responsible for the coordination of all equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Work with patients, physicians, therapists, insurance companies, and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for clients
• Obtain necessary documentation and authorizations required for equipment coverage
• Assist with clinical, sales support, and home transition staff, as necessary
• Assist customer service staff to coordinate respiratory-related discharges
• Coordinate RT / Clinician schedules and patient set-ups, answer and route clinical staff / patient communication
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Additional Skills & Qualifications

HS Diploma / GED

PREFERRED :

Previous home care experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent phone demeanor

Ability to occasionally lift and / or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs (oxygen tanks)

Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50 / hr.
