As an Electroencephalogram Technician, you will play a critical role in capturing and interpreting electrical activity in the brain to diagnose conditions and inform patient care. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for neurology and a commitment to patient care. Key Responsibilities : Conduct EEGs to measure brain activity and diagnose conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain tumors Prepare patients for EEG procedures, including securing electrodes to the scalp Analyze EEG data and collaborate with physicians to interpret results and inform patient care Maintain patient records and EEG equipment to ensure accurate and effective patient care Provide patient education and support throughout the EEG procedure Stay current with new EEG technologies and techniques to continually improve patient outcomes Required Qualifications : 2 years experience High School diploma or GED is required Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) (Or) The Certified EEG Technician (CET) registry is required BLS - American Heart Association.
