Job descriptionCertification required. Experience in a hospital setting as an APP is preferred. We are looking for a nurse practitioner interested in a swing role. Focus on admissions and never work alone. We offer flexibility in scheduling so you can balance work with family and activities. Our team works a block schedule; however, the number of shifts in a block can be negotiable. Shifts are 12 hours in length; 12 p.m.- 12 a.m. We are a medium-sized 154-bed community hospital with robust subspecialty support. We support a semi-open ICU with full intensivist coverage 24 hours a day, but our team is not expected to do procedures or run codes, and our nurse practitioners are not in the ICU. Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who relishes the challenge of addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
