Work Model : Hybrid
Compensation : 55-65K plus performance bonus. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in company-sponsored benefits, incentive programs, and other forms of compensation.
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating quarterly pricing for contracted customers, supporting new price requests from the commercial team, and alerting the sales team when prices are expiring. This role is critical in ensuring our pricing strategies are competitive and aligned with market trends.
Responsibilities
- Quarterly Pricing Updates : Review and update pricing for contracted customers on a quarterly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
- New Price Requests : Collaborate with the commercial team to support new price requests, coordinate with Manufacturing and Operations Planning to provide timely and accurate pricing information and recommendations.
- Price Expiry Alerts : Alert the sales team when prices are nearing expiration, ensuring proactive communication and up-to-date pricing is available for invoicing.
- Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor pricing strategies.
- Data Management : Maintain and update pricing databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Reporting : Generate and distribute regular pricing and profit reports to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and the Director of Product Line to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.Experience : At least 5 years in a pricing analysis, financial analysis or in a similar role.Industry Knowledge : Background in manufacturing; packaging a plus.Strengths : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions and recommendations.Tech Savvy : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.About SIG
