Job descriptionFrequently moves around the service area, and other parts of the dealership for > 75% of the shift; Frequently moves motorcycles weighing greater than 500 to over 950 lbs.; Occasionally lift objects that weigh > than 50lbs.; Occasionally work more than 8-hours per day, and on the weekends; Frequently operate computer, or other office equipment. Constantly exposed to loud noises, fumes, and other toxic chemicals. Proven experience in services sales in automotive or power-sports dealership. High school diploma, or equivalent; Superior communication and customer service skills; Maintain technical knowledge and qualifications by keeping current in factory-training programs; Maintain a valid driver license with motorcycle endorsement, and clean driving record.
Essential Functions
- Models the values and guiding principles of our dealership;
- Diagnose and communicate vehicle needs to customer;
- Create detailed vehicle work-order, and assign to Service Technician;
- Maintain communication with customer to relay status of work;
- Process through completion all warranty, and repair orders;
- Maintain accuracy of all job-related service records;
- Support, promote, and get involved in the Help Sell, and Motorcycle Referral, Programs;
- Act as an Ambassador for the dealership, and the Harley-Davidson brand.
