Loc provides quality products and services at affordable prices through a lean organizational structure and four facilities, three in Michigan that span 910,000 square feet, and one in Ohio, that span 800,000+ square feet. The Plymouth, MI facility serves as corporate headquarters and specializes in suspension, driveline, and track systems. The Lansing and Lapeer Michigan based facilities specialize in fabrications and armor product solutions. Loc's St. Mary's, Ohio facility manufactures rubber track products for agricultural, construction, and defense industries.

Job Title : Assembler

Department : Production

Summary : Assembles machinery components, such as operating cylinders, electric control cases, transmissions, clutches, and special tools, according to specifications by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

Transports specified parts from storage to work area manually or by using overhead crane.

Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.

Brushes lubricant on moving parts and fits parts together on bench, following blueprints.

Prepares and pre-sets all tools needed for machining operations.

Operates machine manually to perform nonautomated functions when machine malfunctions.

Discusses errors with supervisor to resolve problems.

Cleans machine, tooling, and parts.

Performs machine maintenance.

Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together.

Operates hydraulic press to force bearings into sleeves and flatten rivets.

Connects electric wires to terminals of subassembly.

Moves subassembly to storage area.
