We are seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team at Luxe Rehab .

Ideal candidates will have experience in LTC / SNF and have worked with the billing system Net Health
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments. The successful candidate will assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans to promote patients' independence, health, and well-being.
Duties :
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to design and implement patient-centered treatment plans that address physical, cognitive, or sensory limitations.Conduct assessments to identify patients' needs and goals, using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.Assist patients with exercises, stretches, and activities to improve their function, mobility, and overall health.Utilize medical imaging and other diagnostic tools to inform treatment plans and monitor patient progress.Provide support and guidance to patients with various conditions geriatric, pediatric, inpatient care.Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and supportive care experience.Experience :
A minimum of an associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies or a related field.Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or a willingness to pursue certification.Experience working in an occupational health setting or with patients who require inpatient or outpatient care.Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.Familiarity with pediatric and geriatric populations, as well as experience working with patients with various medical conditions.Ability to provide care with compassion, empathy, and a focus on patient-centered care.Skills :
Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices.Familiarity with medical terminology and anatomy.Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings.Understanding of geriatrics and pediatric populations.Ability to use medical imaging and other diagnostic tools.Strong physiology knowledge.Proficiency in anatomy.Experience in providing patient care.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
