Senior Frontend Developer with Hedge Fund Post-Trade or Treasury experience sought for a Greenfield UI / UX initiative at a leading Hedge Fund FinTech. The client’s tech stack includes Blazor, Angular, and C#, but they are open to candidates with strong Frontend expertise in Blazor, Angular, or React , and Backend experience in Java, C#, or Scala .

An established leader with 20+ years of experience and a workforce exceeding 1,000 employees. Traditionally headquartered in the UK and Europe, the firm is now in the second year of a five-year transformation and investment strategy focused on expansion in the United States. This initiative includes multiple Greenfield projects across Middle and Back Office functions. The company is widely recognized for attracting and retaining top-tier Computer Scientists and Engineers, offering a collaborative and intellectually rigorous environment. Their strong engineering and research-driven culture enables teams to tackle some of the most complex challenges in Trading and Financial Markets—without the typical pressures and cultural drawbacks often found in traditional trading firms or hedge funds.

Requirements

Solid sector experience at a Hedge Fund or similar, especially in relation Quantitative Trading Technology.

Relevant business experience dealing with business stakeholders in Treasury, Middle or Back Office.

Some proficiency in OO Backend – Java, C# or Scala.

Excellent communication skills and able to work onsite in NYC or Stamford four-days-per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Frontend / Full-stack Lead to take ownership of a portfolio of Greenfield UI / UX Frontends for a major player in the Hedge Fund space.
